Privacy Policy

1. What data we collect

We collect the minimum information required to operate DrivM8:

• Account details: your email address and password.
• Location data: your device's GPS coordinates while the app is in use, used to detect zone entry.
• Vehicle registration: the reg numbers you add to your account.
• Payment information: handled and stored by Stripe — we never see your card details.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to deliver charge-zone alerts, send reminders before payment deadlines, manage your subscription, and improve the service. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

3. Who we share it with

• Supabase — secure storage for your account and zone history.
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
• Firebase — delivery of push notifications to your device.

4. How long we keep it

Account and zone-entry data is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it (e.g. payment records for tax purposes).

5. Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, export your data in a portable format, and object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us.
